Arflex Station Series.
Information on the Station series is surprisingly scarce, but its design sits comfortably within the lineage of Arflex Japan and the broader contributions of designers who have shaped the company over the decades, including figures such as Mario Marenco, Shigeru Uchida and Cini Boeri. As with many enduring designs, it carries forward ideas that have been refined through generations rather than invented in isolation.
Its appeal lies in a straightforward combination of form and material. An oak tabletop rests upon substantial chrome-plated legs, creating a balance between warmth and precision. The generous proportions give the table a reassuring presence, while the contrast between timber and metal allows it to accommodate everyday life with ease. It is a design that remains adaptable to changing tastes, equally comfortable as a focal point or as part of a larger interior arrangement.
Perhaps the most thoughtful feature is the adjustable leg system. The legs can be repositioned inward by up to 20cm from the table's edge, creating additional legroom when accommodating larger gatherings. It is a practical solution, executed with remarkable restraint.
We currently have two versions available: a circular model in oak and a square model in black. As our inventory changes regularly, please email sales@aeaefurniture.com should you wish to arrange a viewing.
