Creativity Through Restraint: USM Haller

Throughout the last 2 years, we have amassed a list of reputable suppliers and collectors within Japan and more recently in Europe. We have sourced furniture and unique objects from the likes of Tendo Mokko, Maruni, Karimoku, Cassina, Akari, Ligne Roset and USM haller. All of which are vintage and most are out of production.

Refurbished USM Haller units have been in steady requests since the beginning but it is difficult to find units with good condition panels which seem to be a determining factor for our clients. Our USM suppliers in Japan are collectors and are focused solely on the brand showcasing both generation 1 and generation 2.

As USM officially do not sell individual parts, this left us slightly clueless with what to do with the units we had. Early in the year, we flew to Nuremberg to meet with Konektra, a German manufacturer of compatible panels for USM units and we are glad to say that we are in partnership for them to supply us with panels.

The shipment just arrived from Germany and will be busy the next few days tinkering with our in house designs as well as fine tune the process of taking custom orders to fit individual needs. More to come soon but we will be launching sometime next week.

Stay tuned!
