Bonfire Market 2026
We certainly beat you to the festivities this year. We know 7 November is a little earlier than our usual end of November slot, but let’s just say that there were discoveries during the tip end of planning that lead it. We have also heard from quite a few of you who could not make the usual date, so we thought we would try something different. It may stick, or we may return to the usual timing next year. We will see what happens.
Our year end festive Market will take place on 7 November 2026. It felt a little early to call it festive, so we have given it a more appropriate name. This year, Bonfire Market turns its attention to ceramics, a material and craft tradition that connects many of the cultures our products come from.
Four ceramic practices have been invited to create a special commission for the meditative act of scenting a space. The brief has been deliberately left open, allowing each practice to interpret it in its own way. Each incense holder will be produced in limited, numbered quantities, with the makers also bringing a selection of their other works to the market.
Also present is plant enthusiast Dry Spell Garden, exploring the less familiar side of xeric plants. Chu and Co will keep everyone fed with an assortment of bakes, while Flip Coffee Roasters applies their precision and care to every cup throughout the weekend. A little early perhaps, but there is nothing wrong with getting a head start on the festive holidays.
