Inspired by the shapes and textures of everyday surroundings, this workshop invites participants to discover the hidden forms in objects around them, from surfaces and joints to patterns and frames. Through attentive observation, you’ll translate these details into your own unique letterforms.

Hosted by Death of Typography, a Singapore-based collective that champions accessible type education and creative exploration, the session welcomes both designers and newcomers to a hands-on, playful approach to typography.

Each workshop begins with a brief introduction and reception, followed by guided exercises and hands-on creation. Participants will have time to experiment, ask questions, and enjoy light refreshments. By the end, everyone contributes to a collective alphabet, which will be featured in a 2026 calendar, a tangible keepsake of your typographic journey.
