Marutomi Pot - Round

Masanori Umeda’s work, shaped by his collaboration with the Memphis Group and guided by Ettore Sottsass, established him as a leader in avant-garde design. His influence endures, inspiring designers today with a style that merges timeless elegance and cultural heritage. Umeda’s commitment to innovation and tradition makes him a significant figure in modern design.

In 2002, Umeda collaborated with Marutomi Lacquerware—known for working with iconic designers like Sottsass, Donald Judd, and Michele De Lucchi—to create four unique plant pots: Cubic, Round, Big Round, and Pair Cubic. Each pot features an integrated saucer and is available in limited stock.
