The 2026 Aa calendar is a thoughtful exercise in visual reframing, drawing from the works created by participants during our After School Specials Typography workshop led by Death of Typography. The alphabets developed in those sessions, later refined and digitized, form the basis of a year rendered through collective effort.

This A2-sized wall calendar uses a two-week block layout, a format common in the 20th century but rarely seen today. Most of us don’t flip calendars as often as we think, and it’s easy to reach June while still looking at January. By reducing the number of rows, each month is easier to scan at a glance, presenting time as a series of connected periods rather than isolated weeks.
