Inspired by the sea

Eating in season has become an important topic in the last few years due to the effects of the global climate changes happening around us. Since moving to Japan, we have become more conscious around what's in season through what's available in our local market and neighborhood izakayas. 

During our recent trip to the island of Shikoku, every meal was served with at least a fish component. Being a smallest of the four main islands, ports are everywhere and we probably had enough Katsuo no Tataki (Seared Bonito) for the entire year. We also found beautiful glassware adorned with fish motifs.

When you are raised near a port with marine life situated in your backyard, it is somehow going to influence the things you are going to make. We have put together a collection of glassware inspired by the sea in this upcoming collection.
