Presented with Leonard Wee, a graphic designer turned painter and DesignSingapore Scholarship recipient, each session draws on personal experience and different perspectives.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"text-align: left;\"\u003eThis session features Benson Chong, book designer and co-founder of Singapore-based Studio SWELL. His work includes Shubigi Rao’s Pulp series and the Singapore Biennale 2025 catalogue, \u003cem\u003epure Intention\u003c\/em\u003e. He is currently a postgraduate researcher examining the physicality of the book as a site of agency for its makers.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"text-align: left;\"\u003eBenson explores the balance between rules and intuition in book design. Drawing from music theory, he examines how grids, type scales and design systems can guide decisions. Through a live deconstruction of Studio SWELL’s books, he looks at where logic gives way to instinct.
