It can appear cold and precarious, yet at another moment feel soft, warm and almost weightless. It reveals what is behind it, distorts it, reflects it or disappears entirely. Colour adds another layer, changing these qualities with the surrounding light, materials and objects.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p2\"\u003eThrough Colour is our first exploration of glass at this scale. A wide palette of coloured panels is introduced into the system, allowing us to observe how colour alters our perception of structure, space and the objects around it.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eJosef Albers wrote extensively about the relational nature of colour in Interaction of Color. A colour is rarely experienced in isolation. It changes according to what surrounds it, the light that falls upon it and the colours placed beside it. Yet colour also carries something more instinctive.
