After School Specials: Life Drawing

As we look around our store, it’s clear that our approach has always been a blend, a mix of objets d’art and practical furnishings. We’ve long been drawn to beautiful things, but when it comes to presenting them in-store, practicality often takes the lead. Over time, we’ve come to realise that this might not fully reflect how we truly feel about the objects we choose.

Not everything needs to serve a functional purpose. Some things exist simply to move the mind, to inspire, to delight, to make us pause. And perhaps that’s more than enough.

We want to nourish not just the spaces we live in, but also the inner spaces we often forget: the mind, the eye, the spirit. Which is why we’re excited to introduce Art Again.

Art Again is rethinking the way art circulates. As a platform and community, they specialise in rehoming art, uncovering exceptional works tucked away in homes, offices and storage, and returning them to view. Their secondary art marketplace makes buying and selling art more transparent and accessible, empowering collectors to engage with art on their own terms.

Together, we’re hosting a life drawing session on 31 May 2025 — a gentle invitation to slow down and reconnect with art, with others, and with yourself. Join us for an afternoon of creative exploration, set among a backdrop of beautiful antiquities, cold-brew Chinese teas, and light bites — all within the informal warmth of a place we call home.

These sessions are open to all—from seasoned artists to curious first-timers. No final product, no expectations, no pressure—just the act of mark-making, in real time. Art materials will be provided, you may also bring your own.
